Artwork

Artwork

There is a lot that goes into your design from start to finish and we are here to help. We know that most people don’t have direct access to programs like Adobe Illustrator or Photo editing programs and we will work with you to make sure your design is ready for printing.

Starting from Scratch

Have an idea but don’t have anything put together yet? Not a problem; Provide us any thoughts, information, images, or links you have and one of our graphic designers will work with you to bring your design to life.

Have a design that needs to be revised or changed?

We can make small changes to designs you already have free of charge, just send it to us and let us know what needs to be done.

Already have a finished design?

Attach your file when contacting us and we’ll get right back to you. Best file format is (vector) .ai, .eps, or .pdf types if you have them, or (raster) .jpeg, .tiff if you don’t. When sending .jpeg or .tiff please use the highest resolution possible (300 dpi or greater), however do not just increase the size in Photoshop or another program, this is called upsampling and will result in a blurry image.

Vector Vs. Raster

If a low resolution file is all you have, send it to us anyway and we will see if we can make it work for you.

  • In this case we often have to redraw or recreate artwork into a vector file format
  • Vector files can be scaled infinitely without loss of quality since they are made with mathematical equations instead of pixels
  • We do this because in screen printing the art has to be sized as big as it is going to be printed on the garment, and be high resolution at this size

How many colors can we print?

We can print 6 spot colors, however with complex designs or photographs we use what is called process printing which uses a combination of specific ink colors in overlaid halftones that fool the eye into looking like a full color image.

How large can my design be?

We have a maximum imprint size of 13’x18′ however in most cases it depends on the garment and the garment sizes you choose. For example if you have youth sizes, the largest your going to want to want the print is about 10’x16′.

Designs on different sizes

The dimensions of the printed design will be the same for every item in your order. That means that your design may appear larger on a youth product, or smaller on a plus-size product, even though the design is exactly the same on every item.
